There are several reasons why your healthcare provider or pharmacist may suggest changing from one medicine to another:

• Side effects: If you're experiencing unpleasant or persistent side effects
• Effectiveness: If your current treatment isn't helping you lose enough weight

• Cost & coverage: Insurance or NHS availability may affect your options

• Wegovy (semaglutide) works by mimicking a hormone (GLP-1) that helps regulate appetite
